The Scout section is open to boys and girls between the ages of 10½ - 14 years. Scout troops are located across the Borough

The Scout troops offer active programmes which include out door and indoor activities. Adventurous activities such as camping, walking, climbing, canoeing are offered in a safe environment using trained leaders.

The training programme operates around core competences which provide an interesting and varied programme. They can achieve badges and awards which lead to the highest sectional award, the Chief Scouts Gold Award.

There are Scout troops within the Solihull County who get together collectively during the year for camps and activities. This brings young people from across the County and provides an opportunity to meet new people.

The programmes and activities are designed for the Scouts to have fun and develop their skills and knowledge in a very practical way. It also provides a learning experience in a non-school environment.
