Civic Reception for Scout High Achievers

On Tuesday 11 September, 24 Scouts from across Solihull Borough were invited by the Mayor of Solihull, Councillor Gary Allport to the Council Chamber for the presentation of Certificates in recognition of their achievements in gaining the Chief Scouts Award.

The Mayor, supported by the Mayoress, presented the certificates.

The award is made to youngsters aged from 14 -18 years who have met high standards in many activities over a number of years.

A wide range of activities were carried out, including, working within the community, outdoor pursuits, physical activities and adventurous activities.
